Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal/Sr. Principal System Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

We are looking for innovative thinkers who are interested in supporting the application of commercial technologies to operational military use cases. These technologies include 5G communications, machine learning, and future wireless technologies in support of advanced battle management capabilities. Must be able to thrive in fast-paced environments, minimum skills include: comfortable multi-tasking and reprioritizing daily, drafting whitepapers and proposals, building PowerPoint and giving verbal presentations, and self-educating without direction.  Desired experience in creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and/or executing program budgets.

Candidate must be capable of developing advanced systems architectures with 5G technologies and reflecting those in customer deliverable Cameo/DOORS format. Must have experience and expertise in developing all DoDAF and SysML views.  Must be capable of working and developing product in the tool sets. Candidate must be able to present to customers using the models.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications:The basic qualifications for the Principal Systems Test Engineer is a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of test engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 3 years of test engineering experience

The basic qualifications for the Sr Principal Systems Test Engineer is a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 9 years of test engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 7 years of test engineering experience

Cameo/DOORS experience

Developing DoDAF and SysML views

Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance prior to start of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced and proficient in generating Test Strategies, Test Plans, and supporting development in MBSE Architectures

Experience and expertise in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including standing up new MBSE environments, and capable of building DoDAF and SysML views

Building PowerPoint presentations

An active DoD Secret Clearance
