Position Summary

Position Summary:

Inspects and tests products and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.



  • Selects products and tests product for variety of qualities such as dimensions and electrical properties as part of Receiving, In Process, Final Inspection and First Article Inspection Reports.

  • Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures as prescribed in the Quality Control manual.

  • Evaluates data and records on the in-process sheets. Ensure red line and change control of in-process documents and records.

  • Keeps the supervisor/team lead aware of any problems or potential problems in the quality of the product. Issues Quality Alerts as required.

  • Provides First Article Inspection Support

  • Supports PPAP activities (e.g. P-Maps, Control Plans, FMEA review and updates)

  • Document and complete both NCMR and CAR in QSi (internal and customer complaint related).

  • Complete/coordinate annual forms as related to Quality, Supply Chain, HR and EHS.

  • Supports internal quality audits.

  • Supports continuous improvement through LEAN & HPT including standard work and process documentation. Supports Quality HPT Start Point team and coach’s quality start point representatives on quality side of TIB.

  • Conducts internal audits via Central QA schedule.

  • Responsible for organization of retain samples and record retention file keeping.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and quality requirements.

  • Other duties or projects as required.

  • Overtimes as required.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with a minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a quality capacity; preferred Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Must have ability to interpret drawings, materials specifications and test instructions.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, a plus
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, AS, IATF) is preferred
  • Knowledge of various inspection tools/equipment (VMM, Verniers, Keithley Multi-Meter)
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
