Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking an EHS Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Amarillo, TX facility.

Position Overview:

This position requires ability to be responsible for the support of environmental, health and safety efforts at the site with an emphasis on the continuous improvement of its functional programs. Individual is accountable for and responsible for supporting EHS activities.

In this function you will:

+ Monitor and report out on EHS metrics on air, water, waste, and injury systems

+ Drive action items to closure

+ Supporting EHS training initiatives

+ Leading EHS meetings

+ Support incident investigations and site internal assessment activities

+ Work with EHS Manager and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for corporate EHS, country, state, and local regulations

+ Assist with the implementation of MESH (Management System of Environmental, Safety, Security and Health) and utilize MESH tools to drive improvements

+ Support Site Level and Works Station Risk Assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects

+ Support tracking of appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track EHS performance.

+ Support tracking and accomplishment of EHS goals for the site

+ Provide support on using established EHS data processes such as MESH Prism to manage data.

+ Drive and promote zero incident EHS culture throughout site

+ Create and facilitate EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year

+ Support site environmental permits and ensure terms and conditions are understood and complied with, ensure required documentation is maintained and required regulatory reports are submitted to the respective agency, e.g., Annual Waste Summaries, Tier II, TRI, NESHAP ZZZZZ, Special Waste Authorizations, Semiannual Industrial Waste Reports, etc

+ Support the recycling efforts for the facility. Work with program owners on all site waste disposal activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

+ Minimum of One (1) year EHS experience supporting Manufacturing

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited instituion

+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50-mile radius of Amarillo, TX. will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications: ership experience

+ Advanced degree (Master’s level or beyond)

+ 3 years of experience with responsibility of waste disposal at LQG Hazardous Waste facility

+ Professional certification (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)
