Job Title: Electrician

The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

Job Description

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $44.00; benefits such as 401 k with company match, dental, vision, life insurance and more!

Job Responsibilities

  • Must hold a current Oregon Electrical PJ or General Journeyman's license.
  • Instrumentation strongly preferred. Must have strong knowledge of PLC's, relay logic and times, field input and output devices.
  • Must have complete electrical background including experience with motors and motor controls, electrical switchgear, 3 phase-480V service.
  • Installation and set up AC drive units.
  • Excellent understanding of pneumatic controls.
  • Must have 3-5 years of strong E&I experience and strong preventative maintenance background in a manufacturing environment.
  • Rotation on E&I
  • On-Call list required.
