Kelly has an exciting fulltime permanent opportunity in the Willow Grove, PA area for a Field Service Technician / Field Service Engineer.  Starting salary at 70K+, and Benefits

The Field Service Engineer/Technician receives priorities, schedule’s job assignments from the Customer Service Manager. Consults with customer and/or supervisor on studies, and other specifications to determine procedures and scope of work.  To help with Installs or oversee installation of equipment according to specifications.  Interprets maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments, laser tracking equipment and hand tools.

  • Experienced with RF components, blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, subsystems, systems, and instruments; positioner products and interfaces; electrical interfaces; customer relations. 
  • Experience high with RF solutions/equipment/testing; Antenna engineering/measurement systems, Radome, Microwave.
  • Provide system installation services. Integration and checkout of the system at the customer’s facility.
  • Preform in field installations, as well as in house repairs RMA. Operate systems to demonstrate equipment and to analyze malfunctions.
  • Responsible for the client’s hardware products delivery, integration, and support. Installs and repairs electronic equipment, such as computer, antenna positioners and controllers /control systems, etc.,
  • Performs acceptance testing and provides preliminary training.
  • Offers technical support when customers call by troubleshooting over the phone, documenting the customer contact, issues RMA number, works with manufacturing on the repair process, as required.
  • Support Sales in proposals by conducting site surveys, configure systems and provide block diagrams, review proposed hardware configurations for accuracy, applications support.

Qualifications:

  • Degreed Electro-Mechanical Engineer/Technician with a Bachelor’s or Associates degree with 3 years minimum in Field Service installation and repairs.
  • Posses a valid drives license & Passport or able to acquire
  • Requires 50-75% or more travel Nationally and Internationally based on client customer needs.
  • ITAR Compliant (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Ability to work on feet for long periods of time, stoop, crawl, reach, carry/lift heavy boxes/equipment with and without assistance.
  • Proficient with MS Windows and its programs Excellent written and verbal communication
