**Description:** This is a Full Stack Engineering role to support service onboarding and utilization within our Cloud Services Engineering team, working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services \(EBS\)\. The position will be part of a motivated team of engineers who are focused on the design, development, and deployment of infrastructure, platform, and application services for the LM Hybrid Cloud environment\.

Additionally, the qualified candidate would be expected to consume new concepts and technologies quickly, as well as be able to educate technologists on their applicability and usage\. The candidate will work closely with management to develop future plans and schedules and provide input into presentations and/or Engineering and Architecture Reviews\.

Must be willing to work flexible hours and be able to travel as required\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Experience with Linux \(RHEL, CentOS\) and MS Windows Server \(2016, 2019\) environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface \(CLI\)

• Working knowledge of cloud computing design and security principles

• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenStack and/or Amazon Web Services

• Exposure to application containerization, APIs, web services

• Knowledge of common DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Gitlab

• Wide range of knowledge across IT disciplines including software, hardware, network engineering

• Must have excellent people, communication and presentation skills

• Experience working in a virtual organization

**Desired Skills:**

• Technical experience with capturing requirements, system design, implementation and test

• Experience with System engineering/Architecture/Administration in a large and distributed environment

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree and prior relevant experience

• Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes

• Proven experience with Amazon Web Services \(e\.g\. EC2, ECS, S3, microservices\)

• Demonstrated understanding and/or on\-the\-job platform services experience \(e\.g\. \.NET, Apache, AWS Beanstalk\)

• Recognized cloud certification \(AWS CSA/Developer/DevOps Engineer, CompTIA Cloud\+, CCSK or others\)

• Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies and/or understanding of Agile development concepts

• Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment

• Experience developing and deploying apps in on\-premise environments \(e\.g\. OpenStack\) as well as to the public cloud \(e\.g\. AWS\)

• Individual should be comfortable working in a fast\-paced, startup\-like environment

• Experience in refactoring, rebuild, or redesign required during cloud migration activities
