Beam Suntory currently has the following position open in Gurgaon, India – IT Sales Excellence Manager.

 

Description

The IT Commercial Manager must be an analytical, problem solving, solution-oriented individual who will be a member of the IT Sales & Marketing team.  This person must be self-motivated and able to work cross-functionally. This role will focus on partnering with the commercial teams in market. This role will ensure there is a deep understanding of the local business, strategy, process improvement, technology needs, implementation of technologies, as well as change management. The role will work closely with teams such as Sales, Sales Strategy, distributor partners, etc. Will also require working with vendor partners and internal IT teams focusing on SAP, Anaplan, Salesforce and other external partners.  The primary objectives of business relationship management and solution delivery.

Overview/Responsibilities

  • Understanding of Company offerings including features and benefits, market position, competitive products, marketing activities, pricing, etc.  – Global and APAC specific
  • Build strong relationships with business partners to ensure alignment of business and IT strategies
  • Seamless delivery of commercial solutions, including sharing of best practices, end user adoption and driving change management
  • Work closely with Business Partners to gather and document business requirements and translate to technical teams
  • Identify pain points and provide solutions to market needs
  • Documentation of current and future processes and applications
  • Execute strategic initiatives, including project management and hyper care support
  • Ensure adherence of BSI and IT governance and compliance processes, including security, architecture and project management
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including SAP, Salesforce and Anaplan COEs, data engineering/analytics and local IT
  • Focus on driving global solutions, with local configuration
  • Represent IT Sales & Marketing global team in local markets
  • Coach/Mentor IT team members
  • Drive continuous improvement for the function
  • Assist in identifying, hiring and retaining team members in market

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Language: Multi-lingual, must be fluent in English (written/spoken)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or similar degree; MBA preferred
  • Years of experience: 5-8 years of managerial experience in Commercial functions
  • Level of experience: IT Strategy/Business alignment and execution, business relationship management, solution delivery and vendor management
  • Industry experience: CPG and Sales preferable but not required
  • Project Management experience (Agile Framework) a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce.com and Anaplan systems desired
  • Self-motivated, focused on continuous skill development and growth
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective influencer and negotiator
  • Travel: Approximately 10%

The Salesforce Technical Analyst must be an analytical, problem solving, solution-oriented individual who will be a member of the Commercial IT team.  The person will work cross-functionally, including with Sales, Sales Planning and Operations, SAP COE, Salesforce Architects and external partners, with the primary objective of supporting the user community, driving adoption, managing on-going enhancements, operations and maintenance of internal applications built on Salesforce.com.

 

Overview/Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for on-going enhancements, operations and maintenance of internal application Salesforce.com
  • Configure and customize an evolving Salesforce.com Sales Cloud environment. Responsible for maintaining the functional areas of data management (including integrations), Accounts and Contacts.
  • Ensures proper security models are in place and maintained for data access
  • Working with departments on change requests to ensure changes align with business processes and don’t introduce new issues
  • Collaborate with Salesforce support group to investigate and implement solutions to identified issues
  • Manage Salesforce system issues/bug fixes, and feature releases via rotation with other Application Administrators
  • Manage data security within applications to ensure Beam Suntory audit, compliance and best practices are being executed
  • Develop, manage and maintain Salesforce configurations
  • Work with cross functional teams on Salesforce integration opportunities
  • Provide ongoing training for Salesforce.com users. Provide updates and education on new features, benefits, reports etc. 
  • Daily administration and support of Salesforce.com including but not limited to managing users, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validations
  • Work with business areas which use Salesforce.com, and end-users to create and manage any complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers
  • Able to guide IT functional teams and business sharing best practices for building processes and solutions
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Perform basic administration of Salesforce.com instance and manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
  • As our data needs grow ensure data integrity by merging duplicate records, performing regular de-duping cleanup procedures, and managing auto-merge functionality
  • Data imports, exports, applying data patches and analyzing/cleansing files from business
  • Understanding of Company offerings including features and benefits, market position, competitive products, marketing activities, pricing, etc.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation
  • Drive adoption through communication and training (one on one, group, webinars)
  • Compile and communicate adoption metrics monthly
