Requisition Number: S_210575 Department: Admissions-0959 Description of Work: This Regional Recruitment Specialist is physically based in the Denver, CO area and works from a home office to present the benefits of UNL to prospective students and their families within the assigned territory. The Regional Recruitment Specialist returns to the Lincoln Campus office 2-3 times per year for additional training and special events.    The Regional Recruitment Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, and assessing UNL's strategic outreach efforts in assigned territory. This position will represent UNL at high school visits, college fairs, community college visits, and other external events. Responsible for interpreting admission, financial aid, and university policy to the general public. Public speaking experience essential. Ability to work independently necessary. Ability to relate to people of all age groups, academic abilities and cultures required. Experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation software necessary. Must have ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assigned projects on time. Ability to learn new technologies required. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Extensive campus involvement as an undergraduate preferred. Experience working as a student recruitment ambassador or tour guide in Admissions, Housing, Orientation leader, or an academic college desirable. Experience with extensive travel helpful.  Posted Salary: $40,000/yr. minimum Job Type: Full-Time
