Architectural / Specifications Sales Manager

Hearth & Home Technologies, a rapidly expanding leading hearth company is excited to hire a self-motivated Architect Sales Manager on a growing team. You will be responsible for promoting and expanding product knowledge across key architectural and design firms.  Working for industry leading hearth expertsyou are expected to identify, nurture and drive relationships with key decision makers who select and specify premium luxury linear fireplaces for high end luxury homes, hotel lobbies, restaurants and more.  

Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Within assigned territory, educate and expand HHT’s premium linear products (Stellar and H&G Foundation)
  • Develop strong relationships with architects, specifiers and designers, to secure specifications of the HHT premium linear products
  • Prioritize both strategic initiatives and specific sales opportunities
  • Build Value/Profit Propositions for Builders, Architects and Designers to support premium luxury hearth product specifications and sales
  • Understand blueprints. Navigate new construction process regarding fireplace and venting installation ensuring proper specifications 

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in architectural sales, hearth industry or related
  • 10+ years of solid experience in B2B sales and account management
  • Manage a sales process using CRM tools (i.e. Miller Heiman, salesforce.com, CVI, etc.)
  • Cross channel navigation with both internal and external partners/customers
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time to targeted markets
  • Financial acumen to create Value Propositions
