The selected candidate will be supporting a Program in all phases of the software development process\. This individual will be executing software development and programming, in a team environment potentially supporting multiple projects or task orders supporting the maintenance, modernization and capability upgrades to multiple software products developed and sustained by this program\. The selected candidate will also collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as fellow software engineers\.

The candidate can expect to work closely in agile teams utilizing the Scaled Agile Mastery to tack a variety of technical problems\. The candidate should be a self\-starter that is diligent to details and works well in a multi\-focused teaming environment\. The candidate will frequently use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to tackle a wide range of difficult technical problems\.

The candidate will support multiple project objectives utilizing validated technical skills, implementing industry standard methodologies and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers\. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to efficiently run builds, deployments, and configuration resolutions for

multiple integrated applications during software

release cycles for development, test, and

production environments\.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\. Individual must have a current and active US Department of Defense \(DoD\) TS security clearance\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

**· Active/Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI Clearance**

• Experience developing software in one or more

of the following: C\+\+, Java, Python

• Familiarity with a variety of internet technologies

\(e\.g\. JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, RESTful


• Proficient with software development best\-

practices, to include design patterns

• Software development experience across the

complete life\-cycle of a program

• Experience working in an agile environment

• Understanding stakeholder needs and defining solutions

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build

effective working relationships\.

• Experience with databases \(e\.g\. MySQL,

PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Mongo\)

**Desired Skills:**

• Antennas design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Software Engineering

• Cloud and virtualized environments \(AWS,

GovCloud, VSphere\)

• Experience with container development and

orchestration with Kubernetes or a K8s

distribution such as Rancher

• Experience with automated build, testing and

continuous deployment

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Hands on software design and software/system architecture

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members

• Quick thinker, fast learner/Proactive, problem solver, creative, critical thinking skills

• Develops solutions to assigned technical problems of limited scope

• Provides solutions to variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity

• DoD 8570 Security\+ Certification

• Basic networking knowledge

• Willingness to travel to travel to customer sites for short durations to troubleshoot system and train personnel

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree\.
