Provides leadership for all aspects of the GWS business for assigned accounts with an emphasis on achieving client satisfaction, business growth, financial performance, and talent development. Develops and maintains a strong, strategic relationship with all account clients ensuring they are highly satisfied with CBRE's service delivery. Builds and nurtures a team of top talent Alliance Directors who are held accountable to execute GWS' strategy and operations within the Division. Supports the profitable growth of GWS within the Division through participation and leadership in new business pursuits, contract renewals and service expansions, transition management, talent identification and development, conflict resolution with accounts, and efficient and cost-effective service delivery and operating models. Collaborates with other CBRE service lines and departments when an integrated service delivery model is proposed or in operation. Reduces business upsets and increases overall account performance through the promotion and utilization of best practices and processes and operational excellence initiatives.


  • Develop, implement and monitor short and long-range business plans and budgets to meet revenue and EBITDA targets, including stretch financial goals.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction. Have Dark Green target plans in place and drive improvement by supporting and working in concert with the Account Alliance Directors.
  • Drive core contract obligations
  • Work with all accounts to renew expiring contracts and organically grow scope of services.
  • Embrace CBRE's safety agenda, exhibiting care for the safety of each account employee.
  • Have key leadership succession plans in place. Support talent development and talent export, identify diverse candidates for promotion, continuously upskill accounts.
  • Support new account startups as well as major transformation and growth initiatives.
  • Drive year over year growth with positive leverage.
  • Demand forecast accuracy.
  • Overcome business upsets.
  • Align with Division President and platform leaders to identify opportunities to enhance value
  • Leverage GWS platform resources and other CBRE resources to support account performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local CBRE leadership teams in key markets within the Divisional Director's geographic areas of responsibility.
  • Champion CBRE's cultural values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence.
  • Be a CBRE brand ambassador representing CBRE externally in the business community with an eye toward prospective clients, sources of new talent or acquisition targets.

Influence and integrate the activities of several separate account teams and/or individuals.



Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from four-year College or university required. Master's degree (MA, MS or MBA) preferred.

A minimum of twelve (12) years progressively responsible profit and loss business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Prior Alliance Director or General Manager experience is desired. Possesses strong experience in project management, transaction management, or facility management, or a combination of all three. Has deep understanding of real estate industry and specific lines of business. Proven leadership skills and has demonstrated the ability to recruit, retain, and develop individuals. Demonstrates knowledge/capabilities in the areas of financial analysis, business administration, legal, human resources, ethical practices, marketing, business development and consultative sales. Fosters a strong service-orientation and leads as a trusted advisor in client relationships. Uses ability to think strategically and to synthesize the most complex business and financial data. Utilizes an entrepreneurial approach and develops innovative solutions.


Participation in professional and industry organizations desired.


Ability to communicate effectively to justify or defend sensitive matters with executives.


Possess advanced financial skills and knowledge to review the complex financial reports prepared by others and to make recommendations to executives that impact division/line of business/company


Ability to review recommendations and results provided by others that directly impact division/line of business/company.


A strong entrepreneurial and creative spirit. Some knowledge and understanding of all facets of global workplace solutions. Is flexible and adept at handling multiple priorities and initiatives. Displays excellent organizational skills. Above-average computer skills in Word, Excel, and Internet usage. High level of integrity and ethics is critical.

We are in particular need of Building Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Managers.  Folks that have current hands on experience with HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, PLC’s, robotics, conveyor systems, carpentry, automation, controls and/or general maintenance.  And we need Managers that can direct these employees.
