The candidate will be involved with the design, development and integration of automated test systems supporting a variety of radar product lines as a member of the Active Electronically Scanned Antenna \(AESA\) Test Engineering group\. Assignments include development of complex test designs comprised of commercial off\-the\-shelf \(COTS\) and/or custom computing hardware\. The automated test systems operate and analyze parameters including RF frequencies, high speed digital timing, voltages and currents\. Automated test systems are also designed for the development and testing of real\-time Digital Signal Processing \(DSP\) subsystems as well as performing official acceptance tests\. This position includes opportunities to travel to test facilities and ship integration sites to support radar system integration and test events\.


**Basic Qualifications:**

⁻ BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience in a related field

⁻ Demonstrated ability to practice sound software engineering

⁻ Demonstrated ability to analyze and decompose complex problems and formulate complete hardware and software solutions

⁻ Proficiency in C\+\+ programming and associated OOP paradigms

⁻ Experience with debugging and computer system performance analysis tools

⁻ Candidate must be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance


**Desired Skills:**

⁻ Proficient with Linux, C/C\+\+, Shell Scripting, and MATLAB

⁻ Understanding of networking communication protocols \(TCP/IP, UDP/IP\) and hardware

\- Familiarity with software Configuration Management tools like ClearCase and Git

⁻ Ability to work in fast paced, Agile team development environment

⁻ Linux administration and computer networking

⁻ Familiarity with real\-time operating systems and software development

\- Experience working with VME and SBC systems

⁻ Understanding of computer memory Endian issues in a multi\-computer environment

⁻ Experience testing hardware subassemblies for functional and performance requirements

⁻ Experience in testing digital signal processing hardware and real\-time software applications

⁻ Proficient in basic troubleshooting RF, digital, and analog circuitry techniques and understanding test approach/methodology

⁻ Familiarity with basic test equipment and automation protocols used in test stations

⁻ Ability to be a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with multiple customers

⁻ Demonstrated ability to effectively manage change, identify issues, and work in a team environment to develop solutions
