**IT Technical Analyst - Senior**


We are looking for a talented **IT Technical Analyst – Senior** to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Power Systems Business Segment in Seymour, IN. The IT Technical Analyst - Senior position will support IT projects in the Power Systems BU Seymour Engine Plant. This position will work directly with business/operations stakeholders and internal Cummins IT teams to deliver solutions.

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**

+ Provide application or infrastructure technical expertise, analysis and specifications for IT systems to meet business requirements in accordance with IT architecture policies and standards; translate requirements into technical specifications, create detailed solution design, coordinate construction, installation, configuration and testing of IT systems; and identify, troubleshoot and resolve system technical issues.

+ Assist in technical analysis of potential solutions including evaluating the technical fit and viability of commercial-of-the-shelf products versus custom built solution.

+ Assist in creating high level and detail design of infrastructure OR applications, interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, and workflows while meeting architecture, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements.

+ Leverage re-usability of component designs to reduce costs and shorten time to deliver solution.

+ Assist in the test strategy and execution of master test plan.

+ Provide production support for critical issues.


**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**

+ College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. 3-5 years of experience.

+ Experience with various programming tools: SQL, PL/SQL, Java, UNIX shell scripts, Forms, Performance Tuning, Appworx.

+ Understand the Oracle EBS Data Model and application database objects like Tables, Views, Synonyms, Packages and Triggers.

+ Knowledge of, or willing to learn about, the various hardware and software used in the control of manufacturing processes and equipment.

+ Experience with analyzing, documenting, designing, and implementing systems integrations and data flows.

+ Understand coding standards and participate in requirements analysis, design, and code reviews.

+ Responsible for Release Management/Change Management and maintenance of CRQs in SNOW

+ Review technical design documents for customizations, interfaces, and reports.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
