Job Description : The Microelectronics department in Raytheon___s Intelligence and Space Systems___ Hardware Engineering Center is seeking an experienced responsible engineering authority for Digital Design specifically ASIC and FPGA development.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5+ years of related engineering experience
  • At least 2-4 years of experience designing, implementing, verification, debugging, and delivering digital electronics including FPGAs and/or ASICs.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience using VHDL
  • At least 2 years of experience with ASIC vendors and technologies such as Global Foundries 45nm or 14nm.
  • At least 2 years of experience using FPGAs such as Xilinx, Altera, and/or SmartFusion.
  • Experience in requirements allocation and generation
  • Experience designing high speed interfaces for memories and SERDES channels
  • Experience with scripting language such as Python, Perl, TCL, etc

Desired Skills:
  • Experience designing and/or verification of digital ASICs
  • Experience with verification languages (UVM, SystemVerilog, SystemC)
  • Expertise in Xilinx and Microsemi FPGAs and their tool suites (Virtex 7 Series, Utrascale/ +)
  • Experience designing embedded processors and FPGAs
  • Experience writing low level embedded software (C, C++)
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team, providing technical and schedule status to management, customers and fellow team members.
  • Proven customer-oriented personality. Experience presenting to and interfacing with customers (internal and external).

Required Education:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent

Desired Education:
Advanced degrees in related fields or technology a plus.

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
