Senior Data Scientist will support The Home Depot Retail Media business. This role will be responsible for using advanced statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning techniques by leveraging first and third-party data to build recommendation engines to drive product engagement, build targeted audiences and increase company revenue. The role will need self-motivated, high performance driven data science individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment on cutting edge data science projects.   • 15% Communication - Prepare clear and concise reports, charts, tables and presentations to support business decisions across the organization
  • 30% Continuous Improvement - Conduct thorough analyses to continually improve business operations, including identifying new growth opportunities, yield management, inventory and supplier selection, and KPIs
  • 10% Partnership - Partner with site testing team to define and determine most effective customer experience
  • 30% Reporting & Analytics - Drive reporting and analyses of marketing campaigns to internal stakeholders and external suppliers by leveraging multiple, complex data sources
  • 15% Transaction Data Analysis - Analyze transaction data to identify purchase triggers and indicators for future value customers in support of predictive and forward-looking marketing campaigns
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a High School Diploma or GED degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent in a comfortable position and there is a frequent opportunity to move about. On some occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters in a quantitative field (Analytics, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc.)
• 3+ years in advanced statistical modeling, predictive modeling, forecasting
• 6+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
• Proficient in a modern scripting language (preferably Python)
• Proficient using SQL
• Proficient using cloud solutions (preferably with Google BigQuery, Tensor Flow, Jupyter Labs)
• Proficient with data visualization software (preferably Tableau)
• Mastery utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problems
• Proficient in Prescriptive Modeling, Forecasting, ARIMA models, Regression, Poisson & Logistic Modeling
