We are supporting a US Space Force contract to provide various tools in support of the space domain awareness mission. Our team is looking for bright, energetic software engineers with a desire to build software that will be used operationally in support of a critical mission to protect and defend our military and some of our most important strategic assets. In this role, you will work with a highly motivated team learning new technologies and leveraging your existing skills and experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Math.  Relevant experience, applicable training, and/or certifications may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of Java and/or C++ Development experience
  • Experience/knowledge of Java or C++, Windows and/or Linux, and general Object Oriented (OO) software design fundamentals
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative/distributed team environment
  • Willingness to work full-time in a corporate office environment
  • Must be eligible for a government security clearance which requires proof of US citizenship

Desired qualifications

  • Experience using IDEs like Eclipse, Netbeans, or Visual Studio
  • Experience with collaborative development tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN and automated build tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Java FX application development experience
  • 3D Graphics/OpenGL application development experience

The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $100,000.00.
