We are seeking a **Test Instrumentation Technician** to perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical areas\.

**Summary of Key Duties for this position:**

• You will install test instrumentation and fabricate cable assemblies for the testing of aerospace hardware\.

• You will test the range from small components to entire spacecraft\.

• You will construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems\.

• You will work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions\.

• You will conduct tests and reports data in prescribed format\.

• You will perform calibration and alignment checks, make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed\.

**Travel, weekend work, extended work hours and off\-shift availability are frequently required\.**

**Top Secret clearance or SCI required to start\.**

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Ability to perform hands\-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly\.

• Ability to work from engineering drawings and follow written and verbal instructions\.

• Basic math and computer skills\.

• Familiarity with diagnostic test equipment \(DMM, O\-scope, etc\.\)\.

• Experience with cable and connector assembly\.

• Precision soldering experience\.

• Must be a US citizen with an active **Top Secret, SCI, or completed T5 investigation** with the willingness and ability to complete a Poly

**Desired Skills:**

• Current Top Secret or SCI with Poly

• Familiarity with structural and environmental test & measurement – specifically load and strain/deflection testing, vibration testing, thermal/vacuum testing\.

• Certification or experience with critical mechanical systems\.

• Experience with test instrumentation \(accelerometers, thermocouples, and strain gages\); understanding of principles of operation and relevant troubleshooting\.

• Familiarity with quality processes for production\.
