**Description:** Lockheed Martin is seeking an Engineer to lead the System Engineering Integration Team \(SEIT\) for an advanced missile development effort\.

This position reports to the Program's Chief Engineer and will provide day\-to\-day interface with Program Managers, the current missile supplier, and the various Customer Program Offices\. Responsibilities include technical performance and risk reduction activities for the missile development effort including the production transition phases, design upgrades required for intended applications, and various vehicle integrations\.

The Lead Engineer must have the experience, drive, and demonstrated capability to lead a team of engineers of varying disciplines to provide technical excellence and mission success\.

Experience leading a team to achieve successful demonstration of program development milestones such as Systems Requirements Review \(SRR\), Preliminary Design Review \(PDR\), Critical Design Review \(CDR\), system integration and test, and Functional Configuration Audit \(FCA\) is highly desired\.

The successful candidate will be required to communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Must currently posses a Secret security clearance\.

Experience with the following:

• Missile design, development, and testing\.

• Leading cross\-functional engineering activities in support of missile programs, such as but not limited to Conops and trade studies, system analyses to bound requirements and finalize the architecture, configuration control of the technical baseline, verification planning and execution, affordability considerations, and risk and opportunity management\.

• DoD tactical system development program experience, customer interface, requirements derivation/allocation, integration and test planning and execution, management of major subcontracts, understanding of Technology Readiness Levels \(TRL\) and their application, and participation in major design reviews\.

**Desired Skills:**

Experience with the following:

• IBM DOORS and Rhapsody or similar for system requirements and Architecture\.

• GPS, Processor or FPGA design, aeronautics, GNC, data links, warheads, software implementation, and program protection\.

• Agile process and tools, such as JIRA or similar\.

• The entire program lifecycle from technology demonstrations to transition to production\.
