Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) are seeking an ambitious Senior Account Manager to successfully grow a number of established customer accounts in the Benelux Transportation sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling HBT projects, services, to multi-location transportation accounts in the Benelux. This individual will ensure the achievement of an annual sales plan for the Benelux business, utilizing HBT sales strategies, processes and disciplines to capitalize on qualified sales opportunities.

Portfolio assessment, Account planning, Opportunity mapping, along with executive level customer engagement will be required to deliver your targets. You would specialise in key built environment systems, including but not limited to; BMS, Fire, Security and Access with a strong-bias on leading Integrated, Sustainability, SaaS and IoT propositions.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a strong Senior Account Manager who is self-motivated, can develop and deliver a clear account penetration strategy and takes full accountability for their results.  The desire to achieve sales targets and ability to succeed in a fast-paced and highly matrixed environment is critical. The individual should be ambitious and has the potential to grow within the company to become a future leader.

You will develop great customer relationships at executive level whilst collaborating internally with multiple functions across the organisation to ensure delivery of high-quality customer propositions.  We require a structured individual that has a robust sales management process to ensure all essential sales forecasting and reporting requirements are fulfilled on time.

The Skillset

·         Ability to develop high-level/executive customer relationships, understanding their competitive strategies and issues; develop a relationship strategy map that operates cross-functionally and promotes ‘diamond’ account management practices

·         Clear and measurable sales background demonstrating a results-driven mindset.

·         Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate active listening skills.

·         Excellent reporting and internal communications culture with accurate sales forecasting skills.

·         You will ideally have a deep understanding of building services within the built environment, and a knowledge of SaaS and IoT-led solutions

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering

·         Minimum 5 of years of sales experience with a proven track record

·         This role is based in the Netherlands with a focus on large global, pan European and national corporations, who are headquartered in Europe

Additional Requirements:

·         Masters in Business or Engineering a plus

·         Experience in Energy Retrofits, Financing, HVAC Controls, Fire alarm, Security, and Mechanical Systems Maintenance.

·         Selling in complex, multi-location environments.

·         Successful C-Suite executive level sales experience and a track record of accomplishments and results using sales process disciplines, influence, persuasion and consulting skills.

·         Can demonstrate positive results with large, complex account management.

·         Self-starter with ability to work independently and to establish strong team relationships in a matrixed organization.

·         Proven ability to navigate the higher levels of customer organizations, identify the key decision-makers and build effective relationships with senior executives.

·         Ability to understand the customer's strategic issues and identify how HBT can help resolve them.

·         Ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple tasks within time constraints.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Being ambitious to become a future leader.
