Positions: We have multiple positions for the same skillset at different levels (Consultant to Lead Architects).

Role description

Seeking an Integration Architect able to work in a complex stakeholder environment with a solid understanding of REST API and SOAP design, development, and management

Skills Required:

+ very good experience in APIGEE Gateway product. This would include design principles needed in producing an API proxy and best practices

+ Experience with Swagger/RAML

+ API Gateway - Delivery - Integration / Apigee Designer

+ Experience with API integration design patterns and programming standards

+ Experience with microservices architecture and Containerisation

+ Experience with API Gateway tools such as APIGEE

+ Experience with API Management concepts and capabilities such as Security, Authentication, Policies, RESTful service design principles, Versioning

+ Experience with Java based concepts e.g. Sprint MVC

+ Experience with design and development of REST API, SOAP API.

+ API product expertise, API design patterns.

+ Experience in creating REST API documentation using OpenAPI, Swagger.

+ knowledge on Security modules authentication including basic auth, usage of Java Web Tokens(JWT) , SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) and OAuth .

+ Experience in Message transformations including converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa

+ Understanding of middleware and integration technology.

+ Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modifications etc

+ Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

+ Relevant tertiary qualification

+ Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

+ Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

+ Desire to work in an information systems environment

+ Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
