Lockheed Martin \(LM\) is looking for a dedicated **Mechanical Integration Engineer** to become a member of the NGI team as the key interface between the design, systems engineering, and Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations \(ATLO\) teams\.

In this role you will:

• Support Space Vehicle test activities in space vehicle factory and at Launch Site

• Drive anomaly investigations to closure

• Perform data reviews to test and integration teams

• Engage in travel and off\-shift support

• Find opportunities for build flow and test efficiencies

• Provide independent review and cross\-program coordination to ensure subsystem designs are mechanically compatible

• Drive system level mechanical design, manufacture, test, and production solutions across the program

• Provide technical leadership to subordinate level personnel through execution of assigned and Internal Research and Development projects

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Knowledge of system engineering processes and Integration functions including System trade studies and/or System modeling, Requirements and Interface Control Document \(ICD\) development, System Integration, Test and/or Verification, Test planning, and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies, Design reviews

• Skilled in Creo CAD modeling and CAD control

• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems in the Mechanical field

• **Interim DoD Secret clearance, therefore, U\.S\. Citizenship is required**

**Desired Skills:**

• 9\+ years with spacecraft/missile design, development, integration, or test, with knowledge of space, missile, and launch at the component through system level

• Geometric Tolerancing and Dimensioning expertise and stackups

• Mechanical Design experience

• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware products throughout the full life cycle of the program

• Certified Principal Engineer \(CPE\) or Delegate CPE for mechanical structures or similar and Material Review \(EMRB\) experience; ability to interact with hardware CPEs and designers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied

• CAD Proficiency \(I\-DEAS, Creo, etc\.\)

• Master’s Degree, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate

• GMD / GBI integration experience

• Experience with Missile integration into the silo

• Mechanical design and fieldwork within a missile silo
