Anthem’s Business Solutions Group has an exciting opportunity for a Director Go To Market and Operations Readiness to lead a team that drives our Commercial and Specialty Division’s readiness activities across execution, go to market strategies, and change management for top growth initiatives.  This people manager will work with partners across the organization and in all 14 markets.  He/she will be responsible for the day-to-day activity around go to market strategy, plans and tactics for the Commercial and Specialty Division’s internal and external stakeholders.  Identifies change management and operational readiness needs and designs effective tactics to meet strategic and operational goals. Develops thorough go to market and operational readiness plans that lead to successful launch and execution. Works closely with agile delivery teams on operational readiness plans for each new capability release.

[This position can work remotely from any US Anthem location]

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Coordinates and develops visibility into engagement, communications, market launch and training plans for all business unit impacting initiatives. Responsible for managing junior associates executing the developed end to end plans. Creates and maintains roadmap, readiness plan, communications plans, training plans. Leads the Creation and implementation of change networks and supports the execution of plans by managers, business leaders and project team members and manages measurement systems to track adoption. Leads all operational readiness plans across the multiple agile delivery teams that impact CSBD. Lead the development and execution of product, technology, digital, go to market launch plans that captures activities across all end to end impacted stakeholders including sales, operations, and service experience. Partners with enterprise marketing to develop compelling go-to-market messaging that reflects product value propositions. Deploy thorough change management plans that assess stakeholder impact, identify gaps and mitigation plans, and assess process changes needed. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.


BA/BS and at least 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

 Highly preferred experience:

-People management experience 

-Experience leading through large scale, enterprise change initiatives with expertise in change management practices

-Former experience in the following areas: sales operations, sales readiness, sales effectiveness, operational readiness planning, change management, go to market planning

-Insurance industry or healthcare domain experience
