The successful candidate will be involved in full life\-cycle design of distributed applications for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System \(TTWCS\) program's software engineering team to provide warfare improvements essential to the US Navy\.

The Candidate will develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity\.

The Candidate will perform work under only general direction and independently determine and develop approaches to solutions\. Work will be reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives\.

The Candidate will be responsible to develop preliminary and detailed software design products, Code & Unit Test products, perform CSCI Integration and Test for TTWCS tactical software applications\. The candidate will design and develop applications which support and automate TTWCS system installation, configuration, and administration activities\.

Candidate will primarily be expected to interact with BUYER engineering team to create preliminary and detailed design products and code implementation and test\. Candidate will be required to support continued maintenance thereof as requirements evolve and are approved for implementation\.

Candidate must able to work within a team environment under supervision from senior engineers\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

\- Active DoD Secret Clearance \(Final\)

\- Strong verbal and written communication skills

\- Ability to work well in a team environment

\- Ability to transform customer vision into a creative intuitive design

\- Be proficient with a minimum 5 years of experience in Cisco Network configuration and administration, Linux Administration, configuration of COTS/GOTS/FOSS, Perl, Python, Shell Scripts, SNMP

\- Be proficient with Software Configuration Management tools and processes

\- Ability to create automation solutions for installation and configuration of networks\.

**Desired Skills:**

\- Agile software development/design experience

\- Experience applying DISA STIGs for Network appliances

\- Certification\(s\) in Cyber, Network, or System Administration such as Security\+, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, etc\.
