Medical City Red Oak provides the highest and most comprehensive level of care.  As part of a Level II Trauma Center, Medical City Arlington, our highly skilled team, made up of board-certified Physicians, Nurses, Medics and Specialists treat more than 80,000 patients each year.  Our Freestanding ER in Red Oak has highly supportive Nurse Management and excellent Physician relationships.    
 
Medical City Arlington is a 432-bed full-service hospital located in the heart of the growing South Arlington area. This facility will support the staff of Medical City Red Oak.  Our team consists of well over 1,000 full-time and part-time nurses, therapists, technicians and other healthcare personnel.  Medical City Arlington is proud to be a leader in Dallas/Fort worth healthcare with nearly 700 highly skilled physicians who represent a wide variety of medical specialties. Together we form a team focused on high-quality care delivered safely in an environment filled with compassion and service.
 
The Environmental Tech cleans the hospital including patient rooms, offices and common areas such as waiting areas and restrooms. The Environmental Services Tech performs minor floor care such as carpet spot cleaning.  In addition, the EVS Tech upholds the performance and behavior standards of Medical City Arlington and Medical City Red Oak. In addition , the EVS Tech is responsible for the following:
  • Ensuring assigned area is cleaned in a timely and appropriate manner. 
  • Responsible for meeting quality standards and using 7step cleaning method. 
  • Reports occurrences to supervisor. 
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. 
  • Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when completing a medication management orientation and when necessary to perform, the assigned duties.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Hospital or institutional housekeeping strongly preferred
