The role of an Honeywell Academy Instructor is :
to deliver technical trainings on certain Honeywell Process Solutions product lines (TPS, Experion PKS, PMD, QCS, FSC, SM, PHD, OneWireless systems, etc. ) , both for customers and internal Honeywell employees.
to provide quality technical training either in a Honeywell Academy, on a specific customer-site or at other selected locations, compliant with HPS and AC quality standards and procedures


Key Responsibilities

Prepare for standard trainings, set-up and configure required training hardware and software, and deliver training courses compliant with Honeywell HPS and (Global) ACQuality procedures
Continuously update training equipment hardware and software in accordance with the latest releases of training courses
Maintain technical knowledge as Subject Matter Expert on 3 or more areas of expertise, and be able to deliver trainings on these subjects as a certified instructor
Design and deliver tailored courses in line with specific customer requirements, this by collecting and selection of standard training materials from standard courses into a customer specific tailored course.
Collect student feedback after training delivery
Suggest training course improvements to Honeywell organization
Be familiar with virtual and remote training delivery technologies to provide trainings for both classroom based and remote trainings
Support in training logistics & operations.
Provide solutions to training requests and can autonomously produce proposals.
Assist sales and marketing teams with presentations and support to customers
Contributes to the design of new courses by providing inputs to the GAC development team on new course developments within the areas of expertise
Maintains a higher technical knowledge on specific courses within the areas of expertise to certify other instructors within the pole on these courses
Can conduct Training Needs Analyses to support design of specific training programs.

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum Bachelor’s degree intechnical/engineering ( on process automation )
Applied knowledge with Microsoft server operating systems and VMWare
Certified in presentation and facilitation skills.
Further qualifications in training/education is an asset.

5 years classroom experience ( or equivalent experience ) in presenting technical training programs.

Demonstrated project management skills.
Experience in delivering training

Demonstrated knowledge of IT & related network technology.
High level of PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications, and VMWare.
Possession of analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Highly desirable to have automation control systems experience ( preferably on the implementation and maintenance of Honeywell systems ( TPS, Experion PKS, PMD, QCS, FSC, SM, PHD, OneWireless systems, etc.)

High level of both written and verbal Communication Skills, capable of adapting style and tone according to the situation and audience
Highly Customer Focused approach, demonstrating success through a ‘Voice of the Customer’ approach on a daily basis
Demonstration on a daily basis of a high level of personal integrity
self motivated and result oriented persons.
Must be a team player and integrate into the local and pole AC organization
Highly motivated self learning individual with the ability to self-start, multitask and manage priorities.
