PAY RATE: $21.82/HR

SHIFT: Full Time, Monday thru Friday; must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts – rotating schedules, mandatory daily overtime, weekend work.

  • Willing and able to work mandatory overtime, including extended weekday hours, and Saturdays.
  • Willing and able to work any shift 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. You will not have a choice about which shift you work until you gain seniority with the Union. Once assigned a shift, it may change, occasionally, to meet the needs of the Plant. (Shifts: 7am-3pm; 3pm-11pm; 11pm-7am)

What’s a typical day as a Production Helper? You’ll be:

This entry-level position consists of the following duties that are essential to the operation of a corrugated box plant.  A Production Worker is normally the third team member assigned to a machine in the Production Department.

Some of the duties of this position include,  but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that all tooling for the machine is on hand,
  • Assisting the machine operator and assistant operator with setups and jam-ups,
  • Ensuring that the area surrounding the machine is kept clean of debris and spills and being available to relieve team members when they go out on lunch or breaks.


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior Manufacturing experience preferred, not required.
  • Follow all established processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work safely and follow all safety regulations and practices
  • Follows specific direction
  • Able to read tape measure and perform basic math used in manufacturing process
  • Able to operate power hand tools
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds consistently
  • This position requires constant standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and crouching.
  • Support the operation of a high-paced packaging manufacturing facility.
  • Willing and able to work mandatory overtime, including extended weekday hours, and Saturdays.
