The primary purpose of the Senior Director Corporate / Supply Chain Talent Acquisition is to design and implement best-practice recruitment strategies that are aligned with the company's key business drivers and will enhance Lowe's overall recruiting program success. This includes responsibility for interacting with business leaders and HR Business Partners to understand how to best position the Talent Acquisition team to support the hiring demands of our rapidly evolving omni-channel businesses, which is pivotal to the enduring success of the company. This role is responsible for supporting the Corporate and Supply Chain functions and recruiting for all corporate locations (including college recruiting and intern programs as well as Technology positions) and supply chain buildings. This team is responsible for all levels of positions, from non-exempt to college graduates and leadership. This team has accountability for maintaining acceptable staffing across business cycles in both peak and non-peak hiring seasons. This position will partner very closely with their peers to ensure alignment on overall TA strategy, TA operations, branding, sourcing needs and effectiveness. This Senior Director guides and develops Talent Acquisition Directors and Managers by leading the strategy in the following areas: process improvement initiatives geared towards streamlining and standardizing practices, policies, procedures, tools and metrics, as well as setting the standard for client relationship management expectations. This Director will also serve as a thought leader on attracting and retaining best-in-class talent across Lowes Corporate, Supply Chain as well as the broader Talent Acquisition across Lowes.

**Key Responsibilities** :

+ Drives the development of a talent acquisition strategy for a Fortune 40 company which includes the hiring for many levels of close to 15,000 associates within the corporate offices and supply chain facilities

+ Focusing on the Corporate functions, including College and Technology, as well as Supply Chain, consults with business leaders, HRBPs and VP of Talent Acquisition to understand the talent needs of the organization and works collaboratively with them to provide solutions to meet talent needs.

+ Establishes a budget, ensures oversight, tracks, monitors and reports on costs throughout the year; negotiates fees with vendors, reviews contracts and identifies costs saving opportunities

+ Understands the retail business conditions and related talent workflow and constraints as well as the Talent Acquisition industry to inform TA strategy and objectives for the field.

+ Makes recommendations to senior leaders and VP of Talent Acquisition on ways to improve recruiter performance, productivity and candidate hiring quality and then leads the improvement effort.

+ Works cross functionally with other Directors in TA to identify root cause issues and the leads the effort to improve issues.

+ Consults with key business leaders on talent sourcing and pipelining strategies to support the Corporate and Supply Chain functions.

+ Partners with strategic workforce planning and creates strategies for sourcing and pipeline building.

+ Provides strategic guidance on the evolution of employment policies, procedures and objectives to ensure corporate and college talent acquisition evolves with the labor markets and established EVP.

+ Collaborates with Senior Operations and HR Leadership Team to identify success metrics for top caliber candidates and tailors TA strategies to innovatively target the right candidates resulting in a diverse slate of top performers

**Required Qualifications** :

+ Bachelors Degree in Business or HR related field

+ Twelve years in Talent Acquisition

+ Five years in Talent Acquisition Leadership at the professional level

+ Five years of budget and expense management

**Preferred Experience**

+ Masters Degree in Business or HR related field

+ Five years of global talent acquisition experience
