  • Entegris is seeking a 1st shift QA Chemist for our Billerica, MA Friday-Monday 8:00am-6:30pm 3 days off.
The QA Chemist is responsible for QA testing and will provide analytical support for production of our MicroContamination Control and Membrane products as well as for R&D development testing. The QA Chemist will prepare and test samples using ICPMS, Ion Chromatography, TOC analysis, FTIR, NVR and Karl Fisher.
In this role you will

What are the expected outcomes? What must this role get done in order to meet your business objectives? Define "what success will look like."
  • Conduct QA product testing of Filtration and Membrane products from manufacturing
  • Responsible for following and documenting standard operating procedures for conducting required tests
  • Set up analytical standards, reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used in testing process
  • Analyze and interpret test data and maintain documentation of test operations
  • Perform preventive maintenance of testing equipment
  • Remove and dispose waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures
  • Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Traits we believe make a strong candidate
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline and at least 2 years of relative work experience is required; strong relative internship/co-op experience will be considered
  • A strong scientific approach and high attention to detail are key to success in this role
  • The ability to handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner is required
  • Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment while completing individual projects is required

• A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline and at least 2 years of relative work experience is required; strong relative internship/co-op experience will be considered
• ICPMS experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred
  • Some exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred
