Job Description

The Field Technician is responsible for ensuring that Hazardous Waste is prepared in accordance with all federal and local regulations for shipment to TSDF locations. The Field Technician will create paperwork associated with Hazardous Waste pick-ups on multiple military bases and assist the Contract Fulfillment Manager in accomplishing assigned tasks orders coming from DLA. Support in loading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste on to trucks utilizing pallet jacks and any associated equipment needed. 

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Responsible for maintaining all Clean Earth equipment and supplies under the direction of the Contract Fulfilment Manager.
  • Inspection of waste materials to include proper packaging and labeling.
  • Prepare load lists for Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste pick-ups.
  • Assist in preparing all shipping documentation and waste profiles. 
  • Complete tasks orders and Clean Earth internal documents.
  • Operate fork trucks and other mobile equipment to move containers to and from storage and treatment areas and to load/unload waste shipments.
  • Assist with field service analytical activities.
  • Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
