Administrative Manager - Feinstein International Center - (21001433) Description This is a limited term position ending September 1, 2026. The Feinstein International Center (FIC) is a research and teaching center that promotes the use of evidence and learning in operational and policy responses to protect and strengthen the lives, livelihoods, and dignity of people affected by or at risk of humanitarian crises. The center is based at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. It is managed by the Director, with several faculty/researchers, both domestic and international, a project administrator, and an Administrative Manager. The Center receives grants and contracts from a range of donors for international projects and programs. The full time Administrative Manager reports to the FIC Director, provides high level and varied support to the Director, manages daily operations of the center, has a working knowledge of all systems at the University, and performs administrative and coordination functions as required to maintain the office and all members of the staff. Qualifications Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or at least five years of equivalent experience in office administration. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite including excel, powerpoint Excellent communication, customer service and follow up skills Working knowledge of social media, i.e. Facebook and Twitter Ability to learn and adapt to new systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least five years of office administration experience Working knowledge of WordPress Experience in Higher education a plus An employee in this position must complete all appropriate background checks at the time of hire, promotion, or transfer.
