Alaska Regional has a full time Ultrasound Technologist opening!
 
The Ultrasound Sonographer performs diagnostic Ultrasonography procedures at a technical level that does not require direct supervision on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Performs exams as requested by ordering physicians, and under the guidelines set by the standards of the Diagnostic Imaging Department. Rotates shifts and takes call as needed. All assigned duties by the Ultrasound Supervisor, Assistant Director or Director of Diagnostic Imaging.

Qualifications

  • Registered with the ARDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN or registry eligible for new graduates
  • Two (2) years of recent ultrasound experience in an acute care facility preferred.
  • Recent experience with ultrasounds of the abdomen/retroperitoneal, ob/gyn, breast, small parts, vascular exams, and invasive sterile procedures
  • Willingness to obtain additional RDMS credentials in Breast and Vascular Technology
