ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Hitachi Vantara –to join our dynamic sales team in Arrow ECS Netherlands.

As Business Development Manager at Arrow you will be designated to Storage Vendors responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers as well as identifying future leads within business units.

What You'll Be Doing:

Drive the business (activities) onsite at the reseller, working with the different teams and management of the reseller with the support of our teams.

  • Join sales, marketing and pre-sales meetings at the reseller onsite.

  • 1on1 sessions with senior management.

  • Communication with vendors (sales) management.

  • Cooperation with Inside Sales team offering support for quotes, access to portals, play books, etc.

  • Manage sales activities, sharing knowledge and visiting customers.

  • Setup and manage recruitment and enablement campaigns using marketing and the vendors programs.

  • Evaluate the portfolio and approach of the reseller and help them to improve their pitch and results by using vendor sales books and other vendors tools.

  • Setup an education a training program, custom made and in line with the commitment and goals.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of experience within sales and/or business development in IT sector with a relevant degree.  

  • Knowledge about new technology products and solutions as well as understanding of Dutch market and global trends, opportunities.

  • Strong communication and sales skills, comfortable with cold calling and acquisition of new clients.

  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.

  • Easy to build and maintain new relationships with stakeholders and customers.
