SPS solutions enhance productivity and safety for more than half a billion workers annually. These solutions include a mix of products, from rugged mobile computers, voice enabled software and workflows, bar code scanners, printing solutions, and integrated material handling systems to personal protective equipment, including connected products that track the locations and status of workers and first responders in hazardous locations. 

As a key member of the SPS Commercial leadership team, you will own the Pricing Excellence Function and lead the SPS global pricing team to enable the delivery of all pricing objectives and strategies.   Focus will include performance management and ensuring desired results are delivered and pricing tools are deployed, and analytics are utilized.

You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing price data from a variety of ERP systems using best practices, standard methodologies and tools. By creating strong partnerships with marketing and offering management, engineering, sales, key strategic business unit stakeholders and senior management you will help to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers. You will leverage analytics from transactional, pass-thru, value, new product and OEM price agreements to drive margin improvement and market competitiveness.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who can:

·       Lead organization strategically through change and deliver on goals set for the organization.

·       Support SEA (Schedule of Executive Approvals) / Standard Price Management (PROS) and deal desk tools deployment and Global Analytics

·       Develop and execute GBE level pricing strategies

·       Drive and report monthly Price performance on Value, Transactional, Pass-Thru and OEM price initiatives

·       Implement, track & report schedule of executive approval, discount management, Price waterfall analysis and target price metrics by product lines / customers

·       Support annual catalog price evaluation process and contract escalations

·       Develop and maintain Transfer Price and Customer List Price in multiple ERP systems

·       Develop and implement pricing analytics, tools, and expertise

·       Ensure consistent reporting and communication of pricing strategy, deployments and progress globally

MUST HAVE

·       Bachelor’s Degree in (Economics, Business, Engineering)

·       5-7 years of relevant pricing experience

·       Demonstrated experience and understanding linking price and business strategy

·       Absolute comfort with numbers and large volumes of data

·       Price management tools experience preferred: PROS, Deal Desk, Tableau based tools

·       Strong self-starter who is able to manage tasks with little guidance

·       Proactive and able communicator with good listening skills

·       Logical thinking ability with problem-solving skills and attention to details

·       Proactive in identifying issues and ownership to resolve them

·       Experience working with teams across multiple sites/time zones; ability to develop effective working relationships and highly responsive

·       Strong analytical skills with ability to manage large amounts of data, use of MS-Excel, Siebel databases, SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Objects (BO)

·       Results focused with successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution
