Ductal® is a high-tech construction material (Ultra-High Performance Concrete - UHPC) with the superior qualities of resistance to compression, ductility, longevity, eco-efficiency, insulation and aesthetics.  Ductal® is used in a wide range of applications - from the most demanding structures, including bridges and roads, to the most creative architectural projects and cost-effective public and private buildings, through our façade rainscreen cladding solution.



The Business Developer will grow the use of Ductal (Ultra High Performance Concrete) through a network of various stakeholders across the US.  He/she will support the clients with the technical and commercial needs for the success of Ductal while making sure that the product remains a benchmark for quality and reliability. He/she will be active with the prescription of Ductal solutions to design offices, engineers, DOT and contractors mainly but not only within the US market.


This role can be based out of Greenbelt, MD, Chicago, IL, Boston, MA, or Addison, TX.



  • Sale of product, development and management of strategic relationships with partners or potential customers based on professional interactions and technical skills with potential clients and stakeholders including precasters, engineers, DOTs, owners, developers, architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors
  • Assist technically to Ductal existing customers around USA and to new partnerships (from identification to training)
  • Specify the Ductal offer; Win new business, either directly or through partners, follow-up construction projects

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Proactively find new ways to build the existing business lines.
  • Secure and mobilize the required resources, both internally across functions, and externally, to deliver results on specific projects and initiatives.
  • Lead and assist with complex sales negotiations, create and deliver sales presentations. Plans and manages proposal and pricing development and client presentations and interaction.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to the business in general, and as it applies to specific projects and initiatives.
  • Support the development marketing plans through research into customer needs, and current and potential product and service offerings in new segments / applications.
  • Master and maintains detailed knowledge of the business, competition, and latest industry news and trends.
  • Ensure tangible, practical and real value solutions are implemented.
  • Engage and share innovative strategies and ideas with other Ductal Business Developers and LH Regional teams to create / facilitate joint opportunities / approach



  • Ductal Operations, Technical department, Legal and Supply Chain
  • Liaisons across all products lines in North America (cement, RMX, precast, construction)
  • Ductal European counterpart teams and Corporate R&D Center



Required Education:  Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree

Field of Study Preferred:  Business Administration or related field (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Structural, Civil or similar)

Required Work Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction sector, project management, sales, construction,and/or business development in a related environment. Technical knowledge of building materials and their composition
  • Good understanding of building methods in the construction sector
  • Successful experience developing business partnerships
  • Combined skills between a commercial and technical background
  • Experience with UHPC/Concrete knowledge (added value)

Required Computer and Software Skills:  Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications  


Travel Requirements:  30% approximately - national travel
