**Job Description :**

**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%)

+ Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. (10%)

+ Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes). (10%)

+ Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings. (10%)

+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Minimum

+ Master's degree in a relevant field

+ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license

+ Experience providing clinical services to children and families who have been exposed to traumatic life events is required

Preferred

+ Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance

+ Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
