We are looking for a Sr. Associate, Payer Quality and Risk Programs Manager to join our Platform Data Services team within our Product Management division. Your job will be supporting our healthcare providers, while owning the subject matter expertise for payer quality and risk adjustment programs. You will read and apply program guidance and technical specifications to support our Payer Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams, ensuring the program compliance of our products. You align your own efforts with others' activities to improve coordination of plans and projects. You use rules and procedures to guide decisions and actions, while keeping stakeholders updated.

The Team: Our Platform Data Services team works to support providers by thinking about business problems, investigating the database to see how you can report to confirm what is happening, gathering statistics and identifying ways to resolve technical issues.

Job Responsibilities
  • Seek out, read, and understand the program guidance from HHS, CMS, NCQA and other sources
  • Answer detailed technical questions on how quality measures can be satisfied, coordinating closely with a clinical informaticist, to ensure our data integrations function effectively for our provider and payer clients as they document closing gaps in coding and gaps in our core EHR
  • Answer detailed technical questions on what data are necessary for risk adjustmentInteracting with database tables, understanding how data structures are impacted by workflows and may affect product requirements, and developing analyses or reports
  • Become fluent with athena's reporting tools for quality and risk management
  • Responsible for direct operational support tasks
  • Proactive case and project management

Typical Qualifications
  • Completion of a four-year college degree with at least 2 years work experience, preferably in project or program management
  • Work experience of at least 7 years including roles in project or program management
  • Work experience of at least 4 years and roles showing direct NCQA or Risk Adjustment experience
  • Experienced with project and program management frameworks and techniques
  • Experienced with Excel or Power BI, for reporting performance and summary statistics
  • Experienced with reading and understanding technical requirements from published specifications
  • Comfortable with distributed and team-based work
