Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to supporting the product lifecycle, provide tactical support across product areas, collaborate with the team in assessing product needs and conducting product backlog maintenance, as well as collaborate with the team in managing plans, issues, and risks for products.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Accounting Systems - Product Analysis - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Gather information about new or existing products.
  • Assess current state of product to discover additional needs.
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of products.
  • Support multiple internal groups in an energizing environment.
  • Coordinate with internal team to define product strategy and customer outreach.
  • Provide deep technical expertise and develop solutions for complex accounting, data, systems and processes impacting broad groups or multiple business areas.
  • Define and lead adoption of new products/processes. Coordinate efforts of other team members to ensure the process/product is effectively implemented and fully documented.
  • Provide technical solutions and thought leadership while partnering with technology divisions and business functional areas to resolve the most complex data, systems, and applications issues.
  • Drive results by collaborating across the enterprise, building relationships with finance, business, technology, and innovation teams.
  • Research industry best practices and evaluate new technologies and tools. Perform proof-of-concepts and facilitate adoption of emerging technology in Finance.
  • Oversee the implementation process for new products (SimCorp).
  • Demonstrated results and competence developing Simcorp FAP/FAM and any configuration changes/processes. The desire to think broadly about their responsibilities and continually refine and improve the way they work and be able to share that with others.  Identifies opportunities for product improvements.
  • Develop accounting related configurations to address any production issues.  Manage product lifecycle and ongoing maintenance.
  • Define product strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Mentor and train team members of new products (SimCorp) implemented.

  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
  • Learning and Training including conducting, developing, and evaluating training, instructional design, and learning management systems
  • Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
  • Skilled in creating and managing databases with the use of relevant software such as MySQL, Hadoop, or MongoDB
  • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
  • Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
  • Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
