As the Mailroom Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating imaging and mail room activities to assure that standards are adhered to and that data is processed efficiently and accurately.

In this role, the Mailroom Team Lead:

  • Manages and maintains the imaging processes and programs to provide effective imaging strategies.
  • Provides ongoing training and education to imaging staff to ensure that policies and procedures are followed.
  • Meets with the Optical Scanning/Mail Room Manager regularly to effectively communicate and resolve imaging issues, set and prioritize goals, improve processes and review productivity.
  • Assists with staff communication, providing updates, resolving issues, setting goals and maintaining standards.
  • Performs download of cold files and compares system reports to perform quality assurance.
  • Assists with all phases of processing patient folders.
  • Assist the Manager in maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, patient, and customer service policies.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED preferred.

EXPERIENCE

At least one year of related experience required.
