Software Engineer (PL/SQL, C++, Delphi)

Job Description:

As a C++, PL/SQL Software Developer you will work in a team with 5 other software developers and 6 more working offshore. Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the European WMS system, and you will be responsible for second- and third-line support. This is a challenging position in which, in close cooperation with the business, you will develop many new functionalities in the complex WMS with the integration of conveyers and robotics technology.


As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for actively developing applications including project management and troubleshooting inside our state-of-the art logistic center for EMEA.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Independently developing new applications with C++ and Oracle PL/SQL and updating and tweaking current applications
  • Actively participating in the further development of our dedicated warehouse-applications
  • Coordinating your own IT related projects
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting problems within the automated processes to ensure the technology and our internal processes.
  • Delivering second and third level support
  • Working with North American and Asian colleagues to identify opportunities as well as improving the processes.


  • An innovative, reliable, and flexible team player, with a “hands-on” approach. Someone who is analytical, independent, self-motivated, and not afraid to share their opinion.
  • A bachelor (HBO) education in ICT/IT or a comparable technical education
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Good knowledge of Oracle PL-SQL and C++ and/or Delphi
  • Experience with C#, ASP, .NET Framework, MVC, Android, IOS and DBA knowledge is also a plus.
  • Structured working style and good customer-focus
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels in and outside of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze problems and processes and can work independently without losing the overview.
  • Fluency in English 
  • Knowledge of the German or Dutch language is a plus.
