As part of the Enterprise Supply Chain Strategy & Systems team, the role supports multiple projects in the development of the processes and tools for managing the supply chain risk and sustainability programs.__ This includes identifying all process intersections across the business, defining future state processes and gaining stakeholder alignment, defining requirements and driving process and tool implementation.__ Once the programs are established responsibilities will include enterprise reporting, ongoing training needs, measuring process effectiveness and driving process maturity.__ Responsibilities also include administration of digital program management tools. The role will also be integral in market research to ensure Collins Aerospace remains at the forefront of these dynamic programs.

This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project manager for implementation of program processes and support of sustaining program activities to include the following:

  • Support establishing enterprise risk processes in alignment with the risk management program vision (perspective suppliers, existing suppliers, global supply chain market / geographical conditions)

  • Monitor supplier and market risk trends and provide enterprise reporting

  • Support defining and managing process implementation deliverables such as scope, business case, resource plan, project schedule, project requirements, future state definition, support plan, change management, testing plan, training plan, deployment & stabilization plan, adoption, benefits realization

  • Manage administration of risk and sustainability tools and manage licenses

  • Manage administration of supplier surveys through the risk management tool including creation and edits, launching to suppliers, reporting survey results and escalating high risk issues, ensuring alignment across the business to prevent supplier survey fatigue

  • Monitoring program processes for effectiveness and applying CORE Operating System tools to drive process maturity and continuous improvement

  • Support development of the Collins Supply Chain Sustainability Strategy

  • Support implementation of sustainability strategies across multiple Supply Chain functions

  • Assist with liaison across Collins functions to drive key sustainability initiatives

  • Manage supplier sustainability rating deployment

  • Manage administration of sustainability management digital tool

  • Support Supply Chain process changes to incorporate sustainability into day-to-day business decisions

  • Assist in developing business case for sustainability for Collins and our suppliers

  • Drive culture change through ongoing communications and training of Collins employees and suppliers on the business value and key concepts of sustainability in our industry

  • Assist in market research to support strategic evolution of program

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor___s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience. In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be willing and able to travel 20% of the time

  • 3+ years of supply chain functional experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Must be able to work independently with little or no direction

  • The ability to influence others outside the team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the Aerospace industry

  • Experience with corporate social responsibility or sustainability
