Kelly Services is seeking a Benefits Specialist for a healthcare provider located in Cincinnati, OH.

Duration: 6 months with possibility of permanent hire

Pay Rate: $21 – 24/hr

 

Description of duties:

  • Analyzing and interpreting plan documents to understand, clarify, and address plan administrative responsibilities.
  • Manage weekly audits to ensure accurate data is being used between the company and third-party administrators.
  • Research and resolve data discrepancies within Workday and third party vendor systems as it pertains to employee eligibility, contribution deferrals and loans, employer contributions, and vesting.
  • Work with payroll to ensure all contribution and loan files are accurate and funded on time.
  • Pay and track retirement related invoices.
  • Work with third party vendors and internal business partners on communicating retirement platform initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for retirement platform with all third-party vendors and internal business partners and employees
  • Assist with plan audits, compliance (e.g. coverage and nondiscrimination), and reporting (e.g. form 5500, 5300, etc.) activities
  • Assist with special projects (e.g. mergers and acquisitions) that impact the retirement platform)
  • Manage interface between plan vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment of defined benefit payments.
  • Define requirements for new processes in plan administration.
  • Participate in UAT in new initiatives

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with company sponsored retirement savings plans
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience with Workday a plus
