We have 12-hour rotating shift pay rate of $17 to $18.00 per hour

  • 6pm -6am, 3-2-3 schedule, every other weekend- must be able to train on 1st shift

How will you contribute? You’ll be:

  • Ensure that the product is set up correctly and sufficiently clean 
  • Load and unload fixtures with the product into furnaces
  • Ensure that the product is set up correctly and sufficiently clean
  • Ensure an adequate gas supply
  • Replace gas tanks as needed
  • Ensure targets and melts are adequate to run the process being loaded
  • Perform tests on standards to ensure coating thickness and adhesion are within specifications
  • Perform batch cleanings at proper intervals
  • Perform batch cleanings at proper intervals
  • Will be responsible for setting up and separating products
  • Keep area and equipment clean

Your Key Qualifications as Furnace Operator

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Experience working in industrial production or furnace room preferred
  • Familiarity with operation of cranes, forklifts, and power tools a plus
  • Proven experience in manufacturing
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
  • Ability in using hand-tools
  • Understand oral and written communications and instructions. 
  • Must be able to do basic math 
  • Need to be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers 
  • Possess the mechanical skills to do the necessary batch cleaning
  • Must be able to read and understand operating procedures
  •  Knowledge and ability to perform necessary actions in emergency situations such as power outages, etc.
  • Proficiency reached through on the job training in twelve to eighteen months
