**Valley City Production: Painter**

**$1837.00 Sign-On Bonus**

You have chosen to complete a profile at the John Deere Seeding Group Valley City for the Painter position. Paint work typically involves working with a group of other employees on the painting of parts, assemblies and/or complete machines, and/or servicing paint systems and equipment.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

+ Perform tasks safely using appropriate tools for paint production.

+ Loads, unloads, and moves material.

+ Follow work instructions per scheduled product build.

+ Follow 5S procedures, maintaining clean & organized work area.

+ Work as a contributing team member supporting the safety, quality, productivity, and delivery of goals.

+ Physical requirements require regular lifting (60-75 pounds occasionally), pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, and standing.

Currently hiring for the following shifts –

+ 1st Shift - operations includes working four to five shifts per week from 6:00AM - 4:30PM.

+ 2nd Shift - operations includes working four to five shifts per week from 4:30PM – 3:00AM.

NOTE: As part of the hiring process, all candidates who are qualified for employment with John Deere Seeding Group Valley City must complete a background check, drug screen and fitness for duty screen.
