LinQuest is a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Manager to help reduce risks to the warfighter by enabling new tactical radios to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) on the Army’s tactical networks within the shortest timelines possible. The successful candidate must have prior hands-on, recent experience with the application of RMF on Army communications systems. The RMF Manager will implement processes, plus generate and maintain the required RMF artifacts to demonstrate compliance and achieve ATO. This position may require presence in austere environments where Army Tactical Radios must operate with drones, aircraft and other sensor systems across the Army’s tactical networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish RMF authority and accelerate ATO of Army COTS radios
  • Communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and present RMF products and ideas in a business-like manner to senior leadership.
  • Work in dynamic, fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.
  • Provide management support to the RMF for NIPR/SIPR & Coalition networks under the purview of the Command.
  • Manage and maintain the RMF assessment and Authorization program.
  • Develop, update, organize, maintain, and track RMF documentation using information obtained from the customer
  • Prepare test plans, checklists, and roadmaps
  • Provide assessment and authorization (A&A) support in the development of security and contingency plans and conduct complex risk and vulnerability assessments.
  • Analyze policies and procedures against DoD security policies and regulations and provide recommendations for closing gaps.
  • Develop and complete system security plans and contingency plans.
  • Recommend system enhancements to improve security deficiencies.
  • Interface with PM Tactical Radio vendors and tactically deployed US Army soldiers.
  • Provide remote support and travel to customer sites as required.
Required Experience:

  • Top Secret Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • DOD 8570 IAM I, must include Security+ or equivalent certification
  • RMF Certification
  • Expert level experience with DoD IT security requirements.
  • Expert level experience in Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process and development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification packages.
  • Minimum of 10 years implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) or DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).

Desired Experience:

  • U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) experience
  • Experience in the application ofInformation Assurance Vulnerability Alert(IAVA) bulletins.
  • ITIL v3 – Foundation experience.
  • Working knowledge of DOD 8570 IAM II.
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • Experience in network access control, intrusion prevention and detection systems, firewalls, routers, incident response, information security methods, and risk management.
  • Working knowledge of supporting Operating Systems: Windows Server 2008-2016 and Windows 10, VMWare vSphere, Solaris 10-11, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.
  • Understanding of Department of Defense IA Standards.
