Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday) 10:30 pm - 7:00 am

Shift differential of $2.25 per hour on top of excellent salary and benefits

Exciting opportunity to join one of Lincoln's top companies in a career in Tool & Die. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing utilization in the Stamping Department by maintaining, troubleshooting and improving high speed stamping dies used to make terminals for automotive, industrial and commercial applications. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

Maintain and troubleshoot dies with minimal supervision or direction needed

Troubleshoot die problems with minimal amount of production down time

Prioritize work load to meet the needs of production

Perform die changeovers as required

Support and implement continuous tooling improvements on all dies for increased utilization and efficiency

Support and implement continuous process improvements throughout the Stamping Department

Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions

Build/Modify spare parts as needed

Participate in recommendations for die design improvements

Participate in problem solving teams

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

Technical Degree in Machine Tool or equivalent field

Proficient at all aspects of precision machining and form grinding required

Proficiency in reading a strip and die troubleshooting skills

Full knowledge of all press auxiliary equipment; (ie. Feeder, takeups, vision, lube systems)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees throughout the organization

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
