The Space Electronics Test Solutions organization has an entry level position on the Component Radiation Test team.  This position requires determining the effects of radiation environments on various components and systems.  Job responsibilities include developing test plans, performing radiation testing, preparing radiation test reports, developing detailed test schedules, as well as providing work direction and support for other engineers and technicians.  Test data used to verify component behavior must be reduced, analyzed and interpreted.  Tasks also include analyzing and interpreting test data and leading and/or participating on teams that resolve technical issues.  This position requires close interface with radiation effects systems engineers and designers to assure proper component selections are made for Honeywell’s Space and Defense Products.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have at least 1 year of related professional engineering work experience. 


  • Some experience with VHDL, C/C++ and/or LabWindows/LabView.
  • Experience with microelectronics, general purpose test equipment or guidance (accelerometers/gyros) products is a plus.
  • Teamwork. Individuals who take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
  • Individuals that assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations.  Effectively use data to make intelligent decisions
  • Ability to drive incremental improvements in everyday situations.
  • Multi-tasking with the ability to manage a variety of complex task.
