The person selected for this position will be part of the Data & Analytics team within Information & Cyber Security (ICS) Cyber Security Defense & Monitoring as an Information Security Manager (ISM).  A proven leader responsible for managing a team of data developers, data analysts & data scientists as part of an Agile team environment. The Data & Analytics team works horizontally across the different vertical alignments to deliver usable and timely data, analytic tools and meaningful reporting in support of critical Enterprise Cyber Security initiatives. This position has direct impact to organization-wide information security objectives having high risk and complexity. Works with and influences senior information security and technology leaders, along with line of business management to identify, formulate, and implement security data solutions that clearly identify and quantify cyber risk. Manages a team responsible for ETL in SQL environment, Data Science, SQL to Hadoop migration and data innovation. Has a general awareness of the state of information security across the enterprise and industry to help influence the clarity of requirements from stakeholders. Will set the general guidelines and processes for team members to follow while they work on cross-functional development efforts. Will help create an environment which encourages innovative thinking and development of new ways of evaluating, analyzing and using data for the benefit of the company.

The Information Security Manager will use advanced knowledge of data analytics and agile methodologies to help manage requirements and quality for a portfolio of custom written applications, tools, and dashboards that provide our partners, ICS and IT leaders, Executives and other entities with highly functional, user-friendly products to help manage the security risk of the Enterprise. Specifically, the position would manage the ETL, Data Science and Innovation team which provides the data which drives the deliverables from Data & Analytics. Direct reports will include individual contributors and managers. Ideal candidate will act as a development resource and process manager for multiple agile development efforts and can effectively manage a diverse team consisting of data developers (SQL & Hadoop), data analysts and data scientists. Responsible for defining data development and improving team processes and monitoring team member engagement with agile teams (Scrum and Kanban), team member development and cross-training, and resource allocation to ensure development priorities are managed to timely completion.   May provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Additionally, will partner with other teams within Data & Analytics and several close partner teams within ICS and IT. The ISM will perform peer reviews, manage resources, expenses, and help translate requirements for work that needs to be completed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of experience with strategic planning in a technology environment
  • 2+ years of experience with leadership in an enterprise technology environment
  • 5+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse and data analytics capabilities on big-data architecture such as Hadoop
  • 5+ years of information security experience
  • 3+ years of Agile experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • 3+ years of customer relationship management experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts
  • 2+ years of JIRA experience
  • 1+ year of Information Security reporting and analysis experience
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
