Lean Six Sigma Manager (Field Operations) -

Current Need
McKesson Medical-Surgical has an opening for a LSS Field Operations Manager to lead a team of Black Belts and support improvement initiatives in our DC network.

Position Description
Leads a team of LSS Black Belts to drive standardization of processes across the DC distribution network. Ensures the team is focused on process mapping existing workflows looking for non-value-added activities that can be eliminated or streamlined to reduce operational expense. The position will organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams to implement sustainable improvements. Driving fact-based data decisions, supporting the LSS Black Belts to deliver solutions and recommendations for re-engineered processes. Presentations and training may be required for the team and Field Operations to include design, measurement, analysis, improvement, control and lean methodology. Promotes the Field Operations LSS team to collaborate among themselves, supporting functions to analyze and implement best practices for techniques and processes ultimately improving the customer experience and reducing operational expenses.

Minimum Requirements
  • 4+ years experience, optimally in project management or process improvement.

Critical Skills
  • 4+ years working on process improvement projects in distribution centers
  • 2+ years using business analysis to improve processes
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Access)
Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, listen to problems and help identify potential solutions.
  • Self-starter with initiative to identify opportunities, identify the people needed to build solutions and drive the project to successful completion
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Financial modeling expertise is a plus
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence
  • Experience with process mapping
  • Knowledge of project management or PMP certification
  • Lean Six Sigma skills or certification preferred

Education
  • 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent field experience

  • Position will travel up to 50%
