  • Architect and develope a LabVIEW test platform for script based automated testing of a variety of electronic and electromechanical and software components, subsystems and systems for automated pharmaceutical production platforms
  • Working with DB engineer, developing LabVIEW test data interface to DB
  • Customize REST API interface of test results to third requirements traceability software
  • Assist in Planning and performing Acceptance IQ, OQ, PQ
  • Participate in development of Computerized System Master Plan. System security validation per CSV. 21 CFR Part 11 testing: Validation of Alarms, Interlocks, HMI screen verification, boundary limits and integration with other systems. FRACAS reviews
  • Working with a multidisciplinary team assist in Test planning and Procedures development
  • Working in a team of developers, develop LabVIEW driven automated test software
  • Assist in developing automated test qualification procedures

Minimum Hiring Standards

  • At least 10 years of LabVIEW driven Automated Test Software Development
  • Expert level of software architecture and desire to architect a robust LabVIEW automated test platform for a variety of electronics, electromechanical and application software testing
  • Ability to analyze test plans and architect appropriate DAQ hardware to perform test needs
  • Expertise in transducer signal interfaces and signal conditioning hardware sourcing and integration for a variety of transducers such as stepper motors, BLDC motors, solenoids, conductivity, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Photodiodes, Thermocouples, RTDS, Thermistors, Pressure Sensors, LEDs as well as bus driven devices such as Pressure Controllers, Mass Flow Controllers, Flow Sensors, Spectrometers and others
  • Expertise in driver interfaces and a variety of bus protocols such as RS232/485, TCP/IP, UDP, Modbus and others   
  • Electronics design and troubleshooting expertise to the component level

Preferred Hiring Standards:

  • At least 10 years of experience in formalized testing of pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery for the US pharma industry
  • understanding of validating pharma production system requirements and operating within a cGMP environment and in an ISO 7 and 8 level cleanrooms.
  • At least 5 years of experience in LabVIEW programming and NI I/O circuit design in support of script based automated testing of a pharma process control system.
  • Extensive experience in the use of test and measurement equipment
  • Extensive experience in PCB test, troubleshooting, design and embedded microcontroller programming
  • Ability to coordinate with and provide oversite of third-party test labs performing offsite equipment testing within the Baltimore and DC area
  • Experience using JAMA for verification and validation procedure generation and automated test results recording is highly desirable.
