What you will gain from this role:

  • You will create brand and reputation awareness for TI by delivering strategic visual content that supports our business objectives and maximizes TI’s impact with content that is consistent, relevant and high quality.
  • You will help lead the continued transformation of the Texas Instruments’ brand look and feel, developing creative frameworks that promote high quality and consistency across all creative assets and company content.
  • You will manage a team of graphic designers to ensure all visuals are compliant with brand guidelines, technically credible and consistent.

About this role:

  • The person in this role conceptualizes and produces campaign creative and works to ensure visual consistency across the design team’s work

Responsibilities include: 

  • Manages team of 5 contract designers and freelancers
  • Serves as art director/ graphic designer for high profile brand campaigns and initiatives
  • Oversees design projects from conception to delivery
  • Develops/maintains expertise across TI businesses/ technologies
  • Develops, implements, executes and documents creative frameworks across design and TI Studios; ensures the design team is trained on them
  • Builds and defines creative templates
  • Ensures all graphics created under his/her supervision are compliant with brand guidelines, technically credible and consistent
  • Ensures that established creative direction filters down to all deliverables over time; develops production flows/ templates/ systems to ensure top-down creative consistency
  • Stays abreast of graphic design trends and pushes the graphic design team to continually improve its competencies/ skillsets
  • Designs for impact, including illustrations, infographics, banners, collateral, etc.
  • Coaches junior designers to ensure high quality and visual consistency across projects
  • Helps with development, implementation and management of TI’s digital style guides
  • Takes an active role in the creation of company advertising campaigns, collateral development, marketing materials and design elements
  • Conceptualizes new marketing ideas/ concepts and helps manage partner relationships for the development of marketing products
  • Works closely with business partners and is able to anticipate their needs and offer solutions
  • Has excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Is organized and able to manage multiple deadlines on numerous, concurrent projects
  • Transforms data into visual graphics and diagrams, making complex ideas more accessible



      • Bachelor's Degree in art-fundamentals, illustration or graphic design related program.
      • 5-7+ years of recent design experience providing images for online use.
      • Solid portfolio of design including photography projects demonstrating a sense of layout, color, and precision, and reel of video or animation examples
      • Expert level knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud application (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
      • Experience creating B2B marketing content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
      • Excellent understanding of design principles while knowing how to speak to and apply them.
      • Ability to follow established processes.
      • Strong organizational skills used to prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work in both a team setting and individually.

      Preferred qualifications: 

      • Adept at change management
      • Experience in the high-tech industry, preferably in a business-to-business environment.


      • Must-have: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
      • Prefer some knowledge/ experience with at least one of the following: Adobe PremierPro/Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Element 3D
      • Nice-to-have: Autodesk, AutoCAD Software, CAAD Software
